My name is Isabelle Stein and I am a student and photography major at Santa Barabra City College. I am originally from San Francisco’s Bay Area and moved to Santa Barabra for my first year of college. I was really fascinated with capturing stars and the galaxy and wanted to try it out for myself. This photo was my first time experimenting with the stars and I was really excited about how they would turn out. It was taken in Tahoe, Squaw Valley with a tripod. It took a lot of patience because there was a road right behind me and cars would drive by and disrupt the image with its headlights. After many trials and errors, I had a few photos that turned out very well and I was pleased with the results.
