As of this post there are two versions of Adobe Lightroom
Lightroom Classic CC
The SBCC photography program uses Lightroom Classic exclusively.
In a nutshell Lightroom Classic CC is the standard Lightroom application where files; including the application, catalog and original images live on the computer’s drive.
If you are taking a class at SBCC you should be using Lightroom Classic CC.
Lightroom CC
Lightroom CC takes a cloud-based approach where the original images are housed in the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere.
SBCC Photography does NOT support Lightroom CC.
If you are NOT taking an SBCC Photography class and you would like a mobile friendly cloud based image editor use Lightroom CC.
